Woman ticketed after vehicle-pedestrian collision

Regional Police have issued a ticket to a driver for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, after a collision Monday morning.
At 6:45 a.m., a 39-year-old man was crossing Young Street in a marked crosswalk and was hit by a car turning left from Kempt Road onto Young.
Police say there were no serious injuries.
The 59-year-old woman driving the car has been given a ticket for $693.95.
