Price at the pump remains steady

After a couple of weeks of big declines in the price of gasoline, prices have not changed in Nova Scotia.
The provincial regulator has decided to leave the minimum price of gas at $121.9 for a second week in a row.
Those needing diesel are digging deeper to fill up today as the price for fuel jumped by 1.2 cents at midnight to a new minimum price of $125.6.
At this time last year, we were paying $1.26 for gasoline and $1.33 for diesel. Oil was trading at $97.11 U.S. per barrel, just over $15 more that yesterday’s closing price of $81.69.
