Weapons and drug charges laid during arrest in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police’s Quick Response Unit and investigators located a 31-year-old man who had a warrant out for his arrest in the 6500 block of Cork St. in Halifax.
While searching the man, officers found a sawed-off 12-guage shotgun under his coat.
In addition to the weapon, a quantity of drugs were seized.
The man was taken into police custody and will be appearing in court today on a number of drug and weapons charges.
