Fall forecasts say no snow for Nova Scotia predicted any time soon

Alberta may have gotten an unexpected and unwelcomed dumping of snow yesterday, but, if you’re dreading snow-tire season, you can put your mind at ease.

Canada-wide fall forecasts have come out, and News 95-7’s meteorologist Richard Zurawski said our corner of the country can actually expect the opposite for the coming months.

“It looks like we’re going to have a warmer-than-normal fall, and that’s for September, October and November.”

He said we can also expect normal-to-low amounts of precipitation.

However, as usual, he said Nova Scotians should take into account how quickly the weather can change.

“It looks like the variable weather will be much more of a factor than anything, so we can expect some stormy weather from time to time and also expect lots of changes.”

But, Zurawski said we shouldn’t see our first snowfall until November.
