Taxi stolen after cab driver threatened

Halifax Regional Police say a taxi driver had his cab stolen Thursday morning, when two passengers said they would beat him if he didn’t give them the keys.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. on Young Avenue near South Park Street.
The driver jumped out of the cab, and the suspects — a man and a woman — drove off.
The cab was then located on Olivet Street, where the two suspects fled on foot.
Police are on the scene.
