Pedestrian hospitalized after being hit by car near Halifax Shopping Centre

A man was taken to hospital yesterday after being hit by a car.
It happened at around 12:45 p.m. when a 25-year-old man crossing Bayers Road at George Dauphinee Avenue was hit by a car leaving the Halifax Shopping Centre.
His injuries are non-life threatening.
The driver of the car has been ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
