The puck drops at 7 p.m. tonight at the Metro Centre between the Halifax Mooseheads and the Gatineau Olympiques.

This game opens the second round of the playoff series.

Play-by-play announcer John Moore told News 95.7 there are some key players to watch out for on the Gatineau roster.

“The player that will catch your eye, just because of his speed and his skill, is Martin Reway,” said Moore.  “The Montreal Canadiens draft pick had a very good first round.”

He also believes Gatineau’s captain, Taylor Burke, will play a key role in the game.

Moore thinks the Mooseheads are a good club and said Jonathan Drouin had a tremendous first series.

“He’s motivated, he wants this to be a special year,” explained Moore.  “When he’s at the top of his game, I don’t think there’s a better player in the CHL.”

Game two is scheduled for Saturday night here in Halifax, then the Moose head to Gatineau early next week.
