Pepsi shuts down warehouse operations in Dartmouth, Moncton

MONCTON, N.B. – Soft drink giant Pepsi is shutting down its warehouse operations in Dartmouth and Moncton.

The move will throw 43 people out of work.

PepsiCo Beverages Canada spokesperson Sandy Lyver says the move is meant to help the company stay competitive.

Lyver says they’re committed to supporting the affected employees by offering packages and career transition support.

PepsiCo says Armour Logistics of Moncton will take over their warehouse work.
