Talk show host Jordi Morgan interviewed the Harper, who said, in regards to the senate, when things go wrong, the responsible thing to do is take action.

“Quite frankly, all of us, both in the senate and in the rest of the government… we have been very, very patient as the senators have been audited and all of the facts have been looked into,” Harper said.

He added that the government’s view is that the senate needs to be reformed.

“We need to see it elected over time and we need to see the terms of the senate shortened so people are more accountable,” Harper said.
