Trailer Park Boys 3 filming at St. Patrick’s Alexandra

St. Patrick’s Alexandra has stood empty for months until the producers of Trailer Park Boys 3 approached Halifax Regional Municipality to rent the facility.
“It’s a unique request,” said HRM spokesperson Michaelyn Thompson. “We haven’t been renting out that space, but we can accommodate. We’re renting it out for six weeks.”
The HRM film office organizes all the filming that happens in Halifax. The production company with pay HRM a thousand dollars a week to use the property.
“That money will go towards maintenance and security costs.” adds Thompson.
This is the third movie for the locally produced show by Mike Clattenberg, following characters Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles living in the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park.
