Car smashes into Halifax home

Halifax Regional Police are saying there were no injuries after a two-vehicle accident sent a car onto a property on the corner of Robie Street and North Street in Halifax.

Police say a driver heading west on North Street ran through a red light and t-boned another car heading south bound on Robie. All three people involved were checked over and cleared by Emergency Health Services, but two were sent to hospital as a precaution. There was minor damage to a home when one of the cars ended up on it’s property.

Both cars suffered major damage. The driver who ran through the red light was issued a summary offence ticket.

The two-car accident happened around 9:12 a.m. on Saturday.
