Feedback from Dalhousie students and staff regarding a new fitness and recreation facility will be presented this week at the university.
The campus hockey arena was torn down recently and now the school is looking to renovate Dalplex.
Open consultation sessions have been held and information gathered will be discussed Wednesday night.
Nathan Rogers, Assistant Director for Capital Planing at Dalhousie University, says the ideas are really exciting. “It’s an opportunity for people to dream big, people have brought a lot of exciting ideas forward about how they’d like to see that happen.”
Rogers adds some suggestions received include more cardio space, a seasonal dome for wickwire field and more natural lighting.
Doors open at 7:00pm on Wednesday, and presentations will take place from 7:30pm – 9:00pm.
