Bracelets shaped like an anchor will soon be available across the South Shore in a show of support for the families of five fishermen lost in heavy seas off southwest Nova Scotia.
The idea started in Sambro and has spread to several other coastal communities where a number of shops are expected to carry the items.
Woods Harbour native Janine Dixon says the bracelets will honour the fishermen.
Dixon says the families will decide what to do with the proceeds from the sale of the bracelets.
