Two men wanted Canada-wide in Spryfield shooting

Police have named two men wanted in yesterday’s home invasion and shooting in Spryfield.

Two men broke into an apartment on Forbes St. One had a gun and fired at an occupant as he ran after him.

Investigators say everyone involved in the shooting knows everyone else and they’ve obtained Canada-wide arrest warrants for two men.

They’re looking for Christian Enang Clyke, 20, and Anthony Michael Leadley, 21.

Both are wanted on a long list of charges:

CC 239 – Attempted murder (2 counts)
CC 266(a) – Assault (3 counts)
CC 267(a) – Assault with a weapon (2 counts)
CC 267(b) – Assault causing bodily harm
CC 344 – Robbery
CC 264.1(1) (a) – Uttering threats
CC 348 (1) (b) – Break and enter with intent
CC 85(1)(a) – Use of a firearm in the commission of an offence
CC 86(1) – Careless use of a firearm
CC 86(2) – Unsafe storage of a firearm
CC 87 – Pointing a firearm
CC 88(1) – Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace
CC 90 – Carrying a concealed weapon
CC 92(1) – Unauthorized possession of a restricted weapon
CC 95(1) – Possession of a prohibited weapon
CC 117.01(1) – Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
CC 244 – Discharging a firearm with intent
CC 244.2(1) (a) – Discharging a firearm – reckless endangerment to the life of another person (2 counts)
CC 733.1(1) (a) – Breach of Probation

“Clyke and Leadley are considered armed and dangerous and members of the public should not approach them or try to take matters into their own hands,” said police. “Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these suspects is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5020 or their local police department.”
