Halifax Regional Police are searching for two suspects after shots were fired during a break and enter attempt in Spryfield.
Around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night, police say two men broke into an apartment on Forbes Street and were confronted by a woman and man inside.
The man was chased out of the apartment and that’s when police say at least two shots were fired.
No one was hit by the bullets and the two suspects fled the scene.
Police say it appears everyone involved knew each other and the incident wasn’t random.
Around 12:50 a.m., patrol officers spotted a vehicle believed to be associated to one of the suspects.
Officers followed the vehicle behind an apartment building on Windmill Road in Dartmouth.
The lone occupant had fled the scene and while the K9 unit was called in, the man wasn’t located.
Police are continuing their investigation.

@Ron: While I am a big fan of 95.7 and listen to them a lot, their web stories often carry stock photos that have barely anything to do with the story. I remember a while ago they had a story about gas prices in Nova Scotia and their photo was one of a gas station in Portland, Oregon, USA with a sign clearly visible showing the price in $/gallon.
Why do you show a Glock in your picture for this article. Has it been confirmed it was a Glock handgun???
Typical day for Spryfield.
