Striking faculty at Nova Scotia’s St. Francis Xavier University say they have a tentative agreement with the university and that classes could resume as early as Monday.
Union president Peter McInnis says the executive is recommending approval of a deal hammered out on Wednesday with the administration.
He says the 400 faculty and academic staff will be voting on the agreement on Friday afternoon.
McInnis declined to provide details of the four-year agreement, but he says the union is pleased with the wage increases it contains.
He said picket lines will be dismantled.
