Feds announce more than 100K worth of community infrastructure funding in HRM

Defence Minister Peter MacKay has announced some federal funding for community infrastructure projects in Halifax.
As part of the Economic Action Plan, MacKay says the feds will invest a total of $122,295.
The YMCA of greater Halifax/Dartmouth is receiving $71,795 to convert the community YMCA on Gottingen Street from oil to a natural gas heat and cooling system.
The Africville Heritage Trust is receiving $50,500 for interior and exterior upgrades to the Africville Museum.
