The clock is ticking for last minute shoppers with most stores closing at 5 p.m.
NSLC stores close at 5 p.m. reopening December 27.
Bishop’s Cellar close at 6 p.m. reopening December 27.
Halifax Shopping Centre and Mic Mac Mall close at 5 p.m. reopening December 27 at 8 a.m.
Sobeys, Superstore and Pete’s close at 5 p.m. reopening December 27 at various times.
City Services
Waste collection will be operating at regular schedule for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
Metro transit buses will be offering holiday service on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
There will be no ferry service on Christmas Day.
The Alderney Landing ferry will be operating on a holiday schedule on Boxing Day.
