Fairview drug bust

Halifax Police have made a drug seizure in Fairview, seizing $65-thousand dollars worth of cocaine, nearly $130-thousand dollars of LSD, cash, and guns.

Four men and two underage girls are facing charges following a search warrant last night on Convoy Avenue.

25-year-old Jose Acosta, 24-year-old Matthew Coaker, 21-year-old Neil MacDonald, and 21-year-old Clayton Cromwell of Halifax are scheduled to appear in court today.

A 13-year-old girl from Sambro and a 17-year-old girl from Herring Cove were also arrested and will appear in youth court.

All are facing numerous drug trafficking and weapons charges.

Prison for Christmas

Throw them in prison. And yet some drug advocacy group wants a meth van in the area…..ha. Just look at the drugs available in Fairview. Instead of giving highs to addicts, the police should begin a serious crackdown. Any assets associated with the crime should be sold off to help hire additional officers.
