Halifax Regional Police are investigating a smash and grab type theft at a Windmill Road store.

Just before 5:30 a.m., a vehicle rammed into the front doors of Mighty Small Cars.

Two suspects then loaded several thousand dollars worth of goods into their trunk and drove off.

There was a surveillance camera in use at the time and police are currently reviewing the tape.

They are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crimestoppers.
