Police are looking for a couple of robbers after a teen had his backpack stolen in Halifax Saturday night.

At 11:00 p.m. three 14-year-old boys were walking home near the intersection of Pepperell and Preston Street when they were confronted by two other boys believed to be in their late teens.

They wore black winter jackets and had their hoods up.

The suspects singled out one of the youths and asked what was in his backpack; eventually pushing him to the ground and taking it.

The suspects were last seen heading towards Eldon Street.

The victim was uninjured and anyone with information is asked to call police.
