Police have arrested dozens of people after taking down a marijuana trafficking network in HRM.
120 police officers from RCMP, Halifax Regional Police and Truro Police Service searched 14 locations yesterday morning, and arrested 28 people.
One arrest is pending.
Police seized close to 50 pounds of marijuana, more than 2,000 pot plants, $250-thousand dollars worth of production equipment, and over $100-thousand in cash.
Police also seized 5 vehicles and 4 long guns.
The accused are from Porters Lake, Lawrencetown, Hammonds Plains, Cole Harbour, Dartmouth and Halifax.
Police say one was a medical doctor practicing in the province.
All face over 90 drug charges, and are scheduled to appear in court March 13th.
