The province is adding the February 2009 shooting death of Terry Marriott Jr. to its Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program.

The province will offer a cash award of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death of Marriott.

Marriott, 34, was killed at a home in Harrietsfield, N.S., where he had been with friends shortly before the shooting.

Investigators believe there are people with information surrounding the details of the man’s death.

Marriott Jr. was the son of notorious Spryfield area crime figure Terry Marriott Sr.

The Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program was launched in October 2006 and now has 67 cases.
