The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) has got its hands on some of the federal shipbuilding documents, even as negotiations are ongoing, but the federation is not happy about some of the missing information.

Kevin Lacey is with the CTF and says it’s the missing numbers they want.

“What we’ve received from the government is the text of the agreements but those agreements fail to tell tax payers what they’ve spent their money on with this corporate deal and more importantly what the contents of the deal are,” he says.

He says until the government releases the numbers, interest rates and any concessions that are being made, taxpayers won’t know if this is a good deal for the province.
