Four people charged after an apparent home invasion in Port Hawkesbury, N.S., have had the charges against
them withdrawn by the Crown.
Nineteen-year-old Mitchell O’Toole of Louisdale, 19-year-old Ashley Victoria Hunter of Dartmouth, 23-year-old Matthew Keizer of Lower Sackville and 29-year-old James O’Toole of Louisdale faced
charges of assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
The three men were also charged with break-and-enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The Crown withdrew the charges in Port Hawkesbury provincial court this week.
Police have said a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital in Halifax with facial injuries after four people broke into a home in June.
