A man waiting for a bus was punched in the face Saturday morning after he refused to give up his backpack to a would-be robber.
Police say the 24-year-old was at the Nantucket Terminal in Dartmouth at 5:45 a.m. when a man demanded his backpack.
When he refused, the victim was punched in the face.
The attacker then got in a newer model black Nissan Altima and fled the scene.
He’s described as white, in his early twenties, average height and build with a small moustache and long sideburns.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
