It was a terrifying night for a couple living on Glen Manor Drive in Dartmouth after they were tied up and robbed.
At 10:15p.m. Saturday night police responded to a call of two people seen with a gun in the area.
When they got closer, another call came in that said a couple had just been tied up in their home and robbed on the same street.
According to the victim, he answered a knock at the door and three robbers forced their way inside.
The men had their faces covered and one had a gun.
Police report the robbers then tied up the man and a woman in the home.
The suspects fled on foot with a number of stolen items.
The man received minor injuries after he was hit in the head.
Investigators in the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are continuing the investigation and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
