A police officer was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being struck by a drunk driver in Halifax Friday night.
Just after 8 p.m. the officer, in a marked patrol vehicle, was driving through the intersection at Almond Street and Robie Street.
A car making a left turn hit the patrol car.
A 40-year-old woman from Dartmouth has had her license suspended for seven days for the quantity of alcohol in her system, a ticket for driving without a valid license and a ticket for failing to yield.
