Taxi hit after shots fired in North Halifax

A taxi was struck by bullets after an early morning shooting in North Halifax.

At 2:15 a.m. a man was in the back of a taxi in the Robie and McCully Street area when several rounds were fired.

The passenger left the scene before officers got there, and police are asking him to contact them.

The suspect vehicle is a smaller, silver car.

Police say neither the passenger or the 48-year-old cab driver were injured.
