Police are on the hunt for a would-be-robber who tried to knock over a Needs store in South End Halifax Saturday afternoon.
At 5:00 p.m. police responded to the Needs at 6124 Coburg Road.
The clerk told them a masked man brandishing a weapon demanded cash, but when the clerk told him he didn’t have any, he fled.
The suspect is described as a white man, 25 to 30 years old wearing a red hoodie and a beige jacket with red sleeves.
He also had a black cloth covering his face.
