The body of a missing swimmer has been recovered at Dollar Lake.
At 10:05 a.m. this morning, the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team located the man’s body.
He is identified as a 23-year-old man from China, but his name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
At 6:45 p.m. Saturday evening, RCMP received a call of a swimmer in distress at Dollar Lake.
RCMP, Halifax Fire Services and EHS headed out to search for the man, but the search was called off at 9 p.m. due to darkness.
The search resumed Sunday morning.
