Workers at a Halifax nursing home have voted in favour of a tentative agreement.
The Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union says employees of Northwood who work at Ivany House voted 94 per cent in favour of the deal.
The agreement includes wage parity with other long-term care facilities, a dental plan and increases in weekend shift premiums.
There are 158 members in the bargaining unit, including cooks, client support assistants, recreation programmers and laundry workers.
