Police are on the lookout for a North end Halifax man who hasn’t been seen since leaving his home early Monday morning.

Halifax Regional Police say they responded to an Isleville Street home for a well-being check after friends reported Paul Couvrette, 43, had not been seen since 7 a.m.

“It’s just out of character for him,” Cst. Barb Saunders told News 95.7. “His friends and family say it’s very unusual for him to not have contact with them. So, we’re just trying to assist in trying to locate him.”

Courett is described as a white man, standing six-feet, three inches tall, and weighing 180 pounds. He has a shaved head, a scruffy beard and tattoos down both arms and on his neck.

Police are currently looking to see if there has been activity on the man’s cellphone or bank accounts to try and locate him.

Anyone with information about the man’s whereabouts or this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
