A Milford man is dead after allegedly jumping from a moving vehicle after a bizarre incident in Lawrencetown Sunday.

John Halliday, 30, of Annapolis County, had died of his injures after apparently jumping from a moving vehicle, on Main Street around 4 a.m. Sunday.

Annapolis District RCMP Police say 31-year-old, Granville Ferry woman, has been charged with impaired driving, in connection with the case. The woman has been released from custody and will appear in court in Annapolis Valley in December.

Police say they are working with the medical examiner’s office to determine a cause of death, and are appealing to witnesses to come forward.
