Regional police are on the hunt for a suspect after a Dartmouth resident was attacked in his home.
There was some kind of altercation between the suspect and victim on Marvin Street around 10 p.m. Wednesday and police say the 50-year-old victim was hit in the face with a pole or stick.
He’s been hospitalized with injuries to his cheek and eye.
At this point, investigators don’t know whether the two know each other.
The suspect is described only as a white male between 20 and 25 years old, wearing a white tank top with a tattoo on his upper left arm.
