N-D-P veterans affairs critic Peter Stoffer is planning to visit the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial hospital in Halifax next week.
Residents of the facility have complained about the food there, and Stoffer says he wants to ensure the complaints are addressed.
Hospitality services director Jane Pryor insists the food the veterans are served is nutritional — and that they’re consulted about the menu.
Pryor admits that meals are sometimes reheated before being served, but says that’s not likely to change.
