A driver has been charged with stunting after police say they saw two cars racing in Dartmouth Saturday evening.
At about 7:15 p.m., a patrol officer at Commodore Drive and John Savage Drive saw two cars fly by on Commodore, and when they saw the officer they sped up and shook the police in Dartmouth Crossing.
One of the cars, a Honda Civic, was spotted a little while later and after a short chase, the driver gave up when he drove into a dead end.
A 20-year-old man had his car and license seized and he’s been charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and stunting.
