A Nova Scotian is planning to swim across the English Channel in support of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada.

Bradley Farquhar, who currently lives in New Jersey, has registered to swim the bitter waters of the channel on September 23rd.

His goal is to raise five-thousand-dollars for the foundation.

Farquhar was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2007 while attending St. Mary’s University.
