UPDATE: Walsh has been found safe and sound in downtown Halifax and has since returned home.

Police hope the public can help them find a missing Dartmouth man.

Thirty-three-year-old Vernon Walsh left his home near Lake Banook on Thursday, August 2.

He was last seen on Monday, August 6 in the Spring Garden Road area.

He’s described as a white man, 5’6”, brown hair and wearing glasses. At the time of the incident he was wearing red track pants and a dark coloured hoodie.

There is no information to suggest that Vernon has met with foul play; however, he does require medication.
