Gas prices in Nova Scotia have taken a big jump this week.
Regular self-serve is selling for $1.331 in metro today, an increase of 6.4 cents a litre.
That will add $3.20 to the cost of a 50-litre fillup.
Diesel prices have also gone up, by 2.8 cents, to $1.286 in metro.
At this time last year, drivers in metro were paying $1.28 for gas and $1.25 for diesel.
Oil was selling for $86 U.S. a barrel, seven dollars less than Thursday’s close of $93.36.
