Police had to deal with a couple of calls of note Saturday night.
A stabbing in the Spryfield area Saturday evening sent a person to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Just after 8 p.m. police were called to Forbes Street where there had been an altercation, and they found a group of people outside of an apartment.
They also found a person who had been stabbed.
Police don’t think it was a random act at that everyone involved knows each other.
Elsewhere, a couple young offenders were picked up after a disturbance near the Ferry Terminal in Halifax.
Just before 9 p.m., police got word someone had a gun at the terminal.
When they got there, they found a 17-year old-suspect with a loaded revolver.
A second person, a 16-year-old, was found to have a knife.
Both are being held for court on Tuesday and face weapons charges.
