The top dogs at some public sector organizations are making pretty big bucks.

Universities, health authorities and Crown corporations in Nova Scotia are now required to report all salaries over $100,000 under a new law.

The list shows university presidents across the province all making more than $200,000. Sean Riley of St. Francis Xavier brings in $291,000, just above Colin Dodds at Saint Mary’s University.

Dalhousie University has not disclosed Tom Traves’ salary, but in January it was reported that he makes $393,000 annually.

Other top earners include the CEO of Capital Health, Chris Power, at $327,000; NSLC president Bret Mitchell, who brings in $266,000; and UARB chair Peter Gurnham, with $182,000.

Premier Darrell Dexter makes the list at $198,000.

The complete list of organizations that must disclose six-figure salaries is on the Department of Finance website.
