Despite indications that we were in for a drop in gas prices, the Utility and Review Board has elected not to change regulated prices this week.  

Regular self-serve is still selling for $1.267 in metro. Diesel prices have fallen, by 1.5 cents a litre, to $1.258 in metro.

At this time last year, drivers in metro were paying $1.30 for gas and $1.25 for diesel.

Oil was selling for $95 U.S. a barrel, well above Thursday’s close of $87.13.
