The price of gasoline in Nova Scotia has taken a big jump upward.
We were expecting the new regulated price to rise about two cents per litre, but it actually rose 5.9 cents.
The new price for self-serve regular in Halifax is 127.7 cents per litre — up from 121.8.
A year ago, we were paying around 127c/L.
