Police have charged a teenager with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in May.

A 19-year-old was with two others in Halifax on May 26 when he was shot on Creighton Street a little before 11pm.

He survived. police figured out he was not targeted.

Police say they’ve arrested a 16-year-old boy. He’s in court today charged with attempted murder, breaching probation and weapons offences.

Investigators don’t think he was the only one involved, and they’re not ruling out more charges.
