Regulated gas prices have fallen exactly as expected today.
The UARB has trimmed a full three cents off the price of gas in Nova Scotia. Regular self-serve is now selling for $1.181 in metro.
That will save $1.50on a fifty-litre fillup.
Diesel prices have edged down by 0.9 cents a litre, to $1.174 in metro.
At this time last year, drivers in metro were paying $1.24 for gas and $1.23 for diesel.
Oil was selling for $91 U.S. a barrel, well above Thursday’s close of $77.69.
