The president of Nova Scotia’s St. Francis Xavier University is back in Antigonish where he continues to recover from a stroke.
The university says Sean Riley has been transferred to St. Martha’s Hospital though it’s unclear when he could return to work.
Riley suffered a stroke earlier this month and was admitted to hospital in Montreal.
He has served as president of the Antigonish university since 1996.
Mary McGillivray, the university’s academic vice-president, is serving as acting president in Riley’s absence.
