Another devastating loss for our women’s curling team at the Canada Games. Team Nova Scotia fell 6-2 to Ontario in the bronze medal game Friday afternoon.
Nova Scotia skip Emily Dwyer says she’s still proud of her team.
“We came fourth in the country and were not going to complain,” Dwyer says. “We did best of the Atlantics. I’m still proud of the girls. We did great. Even though we didn’t get a medal, I think we did really great.”
The gold medal game will be played Friday evening between British Columbia and Alberta. Game time is 7:30 at the Mayflower Curling Club.
